This course is approved by the Texas Commission on Fire Protection and meets the requirements for certification as a Fire and Life Safety Educator 2. Upon successful completion of the course the student will be given a Certificate of Completion which allows the student to take the certification exam from the Texas Commission on Fire Protection.  The Texas Commission on Fire Protection has no pre-requisite requirements other than holding a Fire Life Safety Educator 1 certificate with TCFP in order to be eligible for certification and taking a commission approved FLSE 2 course and passing a certification exam given by the commission.

Upon successful completion of the course the student will be given a Certificate of Completion which allows the student to take the certification exam from the Texas Commission on Fire Protection. The Texas Commission on Fire Protection requires an individual to hold a Fire Officer 3 Certification, ICS-400 – Advanced Incident Command Systems and complete an approved Texas Commission on Fire Protection Fire Officer 4 course in order to be eligible for certification.
